There is always a little tinge of uncertainty buying sight unseen, however, you can't go wrong with this selection. The size is exactly what I was looking for. Super simple assembly is required - no tools involved. In fact, we like it even more than we thought we would. As the description stated, the photo does not do justice to this piece. The long shiny hand-painted "rays" alternate with shorter rays decorated with sand, creating a nice contrast of textures. The sand had fallen off the tip of one of the shorter rays, most likely in transit, but we can easily repair that. It was the most stylish sun wall hanging I could find and it sure doesn't disappoint when it's hanging. Hung it on the front of my Southwestern home...we'll see how it holds up next summer in the Arizona sun!! What they don't tell you when you buy this item is that it comes in two pieces that must be fit together. The item comes with NO instructions so you're on your own. You must fit the top and bottom halves together using butterfly screws mounted on the back of the center circle. If you tighten the screws too tightly, (like I initially did) it will leave a depression in the center of the wall hanging under the screw, and the paint may buckle a bit. Needless to say, I was NOT a happy camper!! However, when hanging on the wall, this defect was not apparent so I decided to keep it rather than going through the hassle of returning it.
